I spoke to the seller who advised they already knew this but did not update the listing to reflect this

It’s not very useful for playing pokémon; the n64 functions are incompatible, and it doesn’t work on the nds or nds lite, as the description mentions.

It came with the Pokémon Gold engraved on it.
I managed to get my Pokémon Crystal ROM without any problems and edited the save perfectly.
The only problem is that the plastic encases the PCB, which is a bit smaller and doesn’t fit in my GBFlash. I had to disassemble the cartridge and place the PCB in another Game Boy Color cartridge to be able to access the PCB and make the recordings.

Figured out that the cartridge was not the problem, but bad not-tight cartridge connection to the cartridge slot of my wife’s gba sp. also the hands go in the way if you just slightly touch the cartridge inside the cartridge slot. and the cartridge is much higher on my analogue pocket as well.
